Otto Koester, Senior Fellow, Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center at The University of Montana. Mr. Koester acts as the Legal Atlas point person for collaboration with the University of Montana and the Africa Chapter.
Mr. Koester has more than 25 years experience developing and managing international education, research and training projects focusing on East Asia, U.S.-East Asian relations, Africa and U.S.-European relations. He is a senior felllow at the Maureen and Mike Mike Mansfield Center and is a former program officer at United States Institute of Peace. He served in Ethiopia and Ghana as a Peace Corps and as an educational policy consultant to the World Bank for South Africa and Nigeria.
The Mansfield Center pursues many different goals in its efforts to continue the legacy of Maureen and Mike Mansfield. The Center seeks to engage people at the University, in Missoula, and in Montana and to connect them with students, educators, scholars, leaders, and institutions around the world in order to promote dialogue and a global exchange of perspectives, ideas, and solutions.
Legal Atlas has formed a public-private partnership with the Mansfield Center as our primary university partner and a key part of our drive for innovation. Numerous students, academics, and practitioners act as researchers and leads in the development of unique datasets for topically focused assessments of legal best practices on a global scale.
