Experience

Ideal candidates for the Legal Atlas Research Analyst are either legal professionals or individuals with a strong background in legal analyses and experience in international affairs.
​Professionals from any discipline are welcome to the team, including but not limited to Law, Economics, Political Science, International Studies, IT, Communications, Philosophy, Anthropology, Environment, Biology, Conservation, Engineering and Agriculture. 

Research Tasks

Analysts are typically assigned to a research topic related to an area of interest or to a topic currently being investigated by Legal Atlas. Within a team, analysts collaborate on one or more of the following:
  • The creation of a global compendium of international and national legislation for a topic
  • The identification and analysis of scientific data related to the topic
  • The definition and publication of international legal comparative practices for the topic
  • The assessment of national legislation against international comparative practices
  • Comparative analyses between countries as part of regional or global assessment exercises
  • The geo-referencing of all legislation and research data
  • Generation of visual tools and communications materials to present research results
  • Identifying and using non-legal data to provide context to legal content and assessments-referencing
